Nancy & Amy visit Casa Blanka
This was our second annual August weekend where we tried to get everyone together at our lake house. Last year Amy could not be here and this year Aunt Debbie and Julie were in NYC but we did get Nancy AND Amy here from Chicago at the same time. :) Greg and Jorge also came plus Co, Gabe and Alex from Cincinnati. Tommy, Emily & Chad (plus puppy Vince) came from Columbus on Saturday. The weather was perfect for the second year in a row. :)
We went tubing again but the highlight was kayaking. Harbor Point is full of kayaks now and although ours are still on order there are plenty to borrow. :) Seven people stayed over with us so we had a house full! There were 9 of us on the boat to Smitty's for breakfast. There are several post to follow with our weekend exploits!
Breakfast at Smittys
The buffet is loaded with hillbilly potatoes, biscuits and gravy and a make-your-own waffle iron. Yummy! Alex is testing the waffles. :)

Saturday Cookout at the Lake
The weather was incredibly perfect. We ate and snacked all day! Dennis grilled some delicious beef and pork tenderloins. We went through an inordinate amount of beer and wine for just 12 people. ;) Aunt Co (NTCO) remembered that we used to call Pokey, our dog growing up, "Pokey Goo"! T and I had totally forgotten about that! It was a fun and silly weekend of reminiscing. We also had some funny hat pictures- what's with that??;) My great-petnephew Vince came along for the reunion but Aunt Debbie and Julie were in NYC and sorely missed. :(

Bob & Joan's Grandchildren
We met Bob & Joan at Bar Louie on Thursday afternoon. Bob's three grandsons, (his daughter Lisa's children) had come for a visit to the farm for a few days and were flying back to Philadelphia out of Port Columbus. They had been to COSI first and had Joan's granddaughter, Chloe (6), along (daughter of our niece Mandy who has a 3 year old, Riley Kate, at home and a new baby boy about to be born any week now!). The children were delightful! The boys are Jacob (10), Samuel (9), and Aaron (who they call Tiger) (6).
